Wednesday

The library is closed for inventory with district representatives today.

Backpack defenses begin at 8:10 today.  See the schedule on the left column.

Select students may be called down during openings to fill "openings" in the schedule.  (i.e. those that missed their first appointment, asked for a new appointment, etc.)

Tuesday

The library is closed on Wednesday to finish the inventory that we started in February.

Library Tuesday Tip:

The library has two Chromebook carts. One is available for use in the library, and the other one is available for teacher check out. We also have seven iPad carts. Please see our reservation sheet on the teacher resource page of the library website. The password is vikings033.

ACT Tomorrow

Please help Juniors know where to test for the ACT tomorrow, the lists are posted in the loading dock, cafeteria and on the second and third floors on purple paper.  Most will test with their advisory teacher with some adjustments.

Senior Defenses that were scheduled for last Wednesday and Thursday (3/6 and 3/7) will be conducted this Wednesday and Thursday (3/13 and 3/14).  If you are no longer available to score, please see Becca.

Kentucky Virtual Library (KYVL) is pleased to announce that much-anticipated access to the Opposing Viewpoints in Context (OVIC) database is now available. It is being licensed for one year.  Under the current contract, KYVL members will have access through February 19, 2020.

This cross-curricular research database supports science, social studies, current events, and language arts classes. Informed, differing views help learners develop critical-thinking skills and draw their own conclusions.
